You prabally don't have it enabled., Also 4W4k3, are the p-ops ups in internet explorer or firefox? look at the top of the POP-up window, they still might be adware for that. Go in to your firefox settings to enable the pop-ups. I have never gotten a single one, sometimes i missout of some things i want to pop up...Like a PM on some of the forums

If your using firefox and the pop-ups come in IE then you have some sort of spyware/adware.

...? I have both. When i use Firefox, sometimes i get popups. When i use IE, i get them a little more often. But for IE i think i have the pop up blocker disabled. Neither is unbarable, i've been online for maybe 5 hrs today and i havent gotten a single one. But some days i will get them more often, especially looking for downloads and such.

I ment like if IE is not running and closed, and your running firefoz sheaching the web, and a pop-up comes up in IE while your using firefox and IE is closed, then you prabally have adware.

I think we both misunderstood eachother.

I have tried it out now (Pro version) , its very good yet one thing. It does what i expected and blocks friendly popups, the ones you want to I want to view. I know there is a way of adding the site to allowed list yet that wil allow the bad popups on that site. I have to use the CTRL key when clicking the link which is a bit annoying. Anyway cheers for the help.

All popup blockers do this its in their nature. You wont find one that doesnt becaus e to the popup blocker its just a bit of data, it doesnt know that its actually the next page on a signup process or something like that. You can either have one or the other, no pup ups or all popups.

Dude..

For gods sake set it to allow pops from the 'friendly sites', temporarily or permanently. The SP2 blocker for example let's you do this easily, infact it's one of the best blockers I've ever seen.
