Default 2* 6600GT or 1 6800GT

wich woud perform better. i mean, because it would cost me the same.
2 6600GT's (100 to 150 eurie's for 1, so 200 to 300 total) or 1 6800GT/Ultra (200 to 300 euries).

It's called SLI . 1 GT/Ultra should perform as well/better than 2 66GTs and you leave the door open for adding a 2nd.

Why would you buy 2 video cards? The 6600 is not an SLI card

the 6600GT is an SLI card (this is PCI Express), If the intention is to use in the system in your sig...well then I'd say one of these cards is pointless

no, im buying an albatron k8sli mobo. but you say, i could better go for a 6800GT/Ultra, because it performs as well as 2 6600GT's in sli?
we'll, i'd call that an argument

It's Scan Line Interleave but that was the Voodoo system. nVidia's SLI stands for Scalable Link Interface

Default Heya

I would have to agree with chosing just one 6800GT (GT will do fine and can be oc'd easily to an ULTRA level). It will perform as well as two 6600GTs I would think. In fact in some operations the SLI mode with two 6600GTs will surpass the performance of a single 6800GT.
