Does "The Island" actually have a story line? I know a lot of movies nowadays are all flash-bang special effects or tired old cliche jokes. Is "The Island" all eye-candy? I want to see a new movie some time soon, but with theatre prices, I'll only be able to see one, and "Dark Water" is currently the movie I want to see (Jennifer Connely is brilliant. You have to wonder how anyone can go from the lead role in Labrynth, to her role in Requiem for a Dream. It's like going directly from "The Muppets" to "Trainspotting"...eerie)

don't waste your time seeing "dark water". That movie was horrible. It was up there with fantastic 4. I gave it a 2/10, and I haven't heard anyone give it any higher.

The Island ACTUALLY has a storyline, pretty different from your generic shit that you see nowadays.
