Default 10x Optical zoom for $375

http://fujifilm.com.au/digital/cameras/camera.asp?id=43

Is that a good deal, or what?

Most other cameras i've seen for that price have only 4-5x optical zoom.

3x is enough for taking regular pics unless you going like photographer style or somethhing or spying on someone lol.

that far you'll need more than 3x.

very true, of course, SLR's are gonna be a bit more pricey, but you would get much much better quality pictures. You could get the Cannon Rebel for about 700 with a lens.
