Default No "uninstall" and not appearing in Add/Remove

Question 1

Hi, I'm using Windows XP and Firefox. I want to uninstall Firefox and there is no uninstall in firefox folder. When I open control panel/ add remove software it's not there. How will I uninstall it?

Question 2
I have a software in my pc that I can't uninstall once i clicked the "Add/Remove" button, nothing happens. What should I do? Is there other way to uninstall unwanted programs?

Did you add Firefox recently - or have you had it for a while. If it's a newly tried application you don't like - you can use system restore to remove the application. It'll save all your data files - but remove any software you'fe installed since the restore point and today's current date.
