Well, if its been working alright with 98, I would think there might be an issue with XP, some setting on your computer possibly. Alos check that your wireless card is supposed to be compatible with XP.

Ive had a dell before, so I know for a fact all their drivers are on their website, not always easy to find, but they are out there, and you can even download a system profile from them, tell you the hardware your using.

I'll keep looking for the driver then, email them i guess if i have to...don't know if they're gonna give me problems since i wasn't the original owner of the laptop...

GOT IT!!! When i entered the Service Tag it wouldn't give me anything. But since i'm at work and don't have it with me i just entered the laptop model and it listed all the drivers for me, i downloaded the audio, video, and system bios...anything else yall can think of that i need? Here's what they have listed:

Just the ones you need, however, if you have or do an entire reformat of you h/d you will probably need a chipset driver, at least I needed that for my desktop, might be diffent on the laptop.
