sata dvd burner question and hook up

somebody gave me a computer. 2.5 gig intel. question is i bought two sata lite-on burners. i have one sata connector to use. Can i hook up both these to one connector some how. any options for one connector. im starting to think i will have to take one back and get an ide. on the other hand maybe i would be better off taking both back and getting two ide's.

One SATA device per port, so you would have to take one back to get an IDE or buy a SATA controller card to run it.
