Default Windows 98 HELP

Hey ppl,

i am having triuble on one of my mates computers. They are running Windows 98. Everything was frine one day and the next day when the computer turned on there was a problem. The problem was that it started and for some reason it said it was seahrcing for boot record from foppy disk and it happened to then quickly said failed or something and then went to a blank screen with a bit of jibberish st the top!!!!! b4 it loaded up into windows. If you could help me that would be fantastic

Maybe your mates PC is trying to boot from the floppy instead of the C:\Drive, try looking in the BIOS to see if that's the case??? If it is change the boot priority to booting from the C:\Drive first, then maybe floppy>CD-ROM, something like that.
