Default Isntalled new HDD, how do I copy the drive to new HDD.....???

Installed new 200 gb Maxtore Ultra 133 drive, how do I make it an exact copy of my old one that I am booting from?? If I do copy will it work ok?? My bro told me it wouldn't work/boot??? why not? tnx

Copy-paste will work. A much more ideal way would be to use something like Drive Image or Norton Ghost.

Your bro is right. it wont work. Some windows files you cant even delete.

You can copy.... just not cut/delete (any files that cant be copied, if any, are generated on bootup anyways so it wont matter).
