quick 98se load question

alright..i have the authentic 98se disk...but what i want to know is how to instal it to a new comp...when i tried it said win98 not found or something like that...but when this other dude tried he got through...then a few weeks later i tried exactly what he did and it didnt work...plz tell me what i have to do to get it to work

Have you tried booting up the computer with the 98 boot disk and load with cd-rom support?

yea...it tried that...but it keeps asking for the win98 disk

Where do you get this error? 98 can be bad with CD drivers... I remember with one disk you would install the OS, then the first reboot it wouldn't see the CD ROMs. The 2nd time you restarted, it was fine...

i got this error in DOS...that's how the comp is comin off and only shut down by unswitching
