Default Issue with using 2 HDD's

I just put together my new computer, fresh install of Windows 7. I am using two HDD's, a 500gb Hitachi (for OS and programs) and a 1TB Samsung (for media files).

Both are recognized in the BIOS, during install of Windows 7 both HDD's were available, also both show up functioning properly in the Windows Device Manager. The problem is only my Hitachi (500GB) with the OS installed on it shows up under "My Computer."

Something I missed in the BIOS? I am going to say user error on my part but what are the chances the Samsung HDD is done for?

If the 1tb drive has never been used before, you will have to format it under disk management. Right click on my computer, click manage, on the left side click on disk management.
