I have an HP laptop and whenever I am at a site like BigBoys.com or anysite that has video clips on a web page, it says that it is loading in Media player, but it never loads and when I try to close the page it freezes up. Do I not have a certain plug in. It didnt do before but I resently reformated and now it does

You get that problem every time it try to load a clip in WMP? If thats case, it maybe something with the windows player, try choosing a different player as your default, or upgrading windows.

yeah get wmp10 i love it, you can speed up/slow down your mp3s and change a whack of settings for videos (contrast and the like)

Re-install media player one time and see if that does it....couldn't hurt.
