Default Problems connecting to monitor...

Hi !
I newly bought all new parts to set up a new computer. When i was finnished i could not get a picture on my monitor. The computer obviously have problems connecting to the monitor. I checked out with another monitor, but that didnt work either. It is extremly frustrating, because i have never been into this problem before. Do anyone know what the problem might be?? And how i could fix it?? I would be extremly thankful !!
Thanx

Steffen
