Default case cooling

Does anyone know of a way to help me cool this cae, http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...271&CatId=1847

I have the same case, different color. Problem is there is only one intake fan on the side, and I have two fans on the back being used as outake, and cant figure out anyway to put another intake fan on the front. I was thinking of putting something in the 5.25 or 3.5 drive bay, but cant find anything that would work there. Please help.

There is a fan grill in front of the case for 2X 80mm fan, you can put 2 in there, just remove the front panel .

Im not sure where you are reffering to, could you be more specific. I was thinking under the panels covering the 5.25" drive bays, but dont think they would fit. Also, they need to be intake, so there needs to be a a way for them to bring in outside air.

Thanks

Yes, its the one below the panel, right in front of the HDD rack.

you have to try it first, usually the you have an opening on the bottom of the panel, if you think that is not sufficient, drill a hole on the front panel

Cool, thanks a bunch joelkyr, I just noticed that. I'm not sure how air would get in there though, cause the front panel is blocking it, but I will give it a try. Any othe suggestions welcome.

Thanks

you can always pop out on of those 3.5'' bays and use some plastic wrap and direct the airflow to the front fans

Well you can get them 5.25" bay coolers but they wont make an earthshattering difference if the problem is not getting enough heat out of the box fast enough (rather than needing new cool air) ... easiest solition is to cut a hole in the case

You can pop the front panel Just be careful and make sure you pop it rather than break it off

One more question, I realized there is this small rectangular vent area on the back of the computer, next to the pci card slots (see picture below). Is this area just for venitalion, or would you put small fans there to help airflow?
