i don't know if this information will help or not...on my compter i have 5 (i dunno what its called..the holes that i can connect the speaker and mic wires to

)right now i connected my mic wire (the one for recording) to the computer and i have my 5.1 creative speakers on. And right now when i'm talking i can hear the change from my speaker. but when i record my voice or talk to other people via voice chating and other stuff the voice changes back to the orig.
