Default reinstall

I'm going to reinstall my heatsink and fan on my system. I have 91% isopropyl alcohol to do this job. I was wondering what I should use to rub the thermal compound off the cpu?

I'll use pretty much anything that doesnt "disintigrate" (i.e., not cheap toiletpaper)

Default WOW She's is hot

Well I reinstalled the cpu twice two see if i could get the cpu temp down 54/62.
Not much success however.
The temps:
In the Bios
Chase Temp 36
CPU Temp External 46
CPU Temp on the Die 62
In Windows
CPU temp 59
Chase 44

Room temp 96 F feels like 100 F

Get an a/c or invest in water cooling. When the air temp is that hot no hs/f will get you the temps you want, or at least the temps I have by some miracle managed to get with stock cooling (XP 3000+ Barton, OC'd to 2.4, 32-35c idle, 24c room temp).
Keep in mind I do have for case fans that move 85CFM of air each... I'm sure that plays a large part.
