Hi, can you recommend something similar to the above, with maybe more features like editing, or saving (other than just avi format)? What are some of the popular ones?

My computer has Windows Movie Maker and PowerDVD. Do you think they have these features?

Erm, probably the only other thing I use for that kind of task is TMPGEnc, which can take out parts in MPEG format, but I think only outputs to that format. Could you tell me what kind of editing features you are looking for?

yes windows movie maker will allow you to edit movies and i think save them in mpeg and other file formats, however it might only be able to edit mpegs, thats what i thought at least.
