Help!!!!!!!

My CD-R has just started opening and closing all the time. i have switch off my pc but it still kepps on doing this. why? can you plz help cause it is driving me crazy

sounds like a virus to me (ive heard of a virus like this surposed to be funny)...post a hjt log and someone will be along to help you.

HighJackThis Log. Look in the secricy section for a sticky of it.

its not that much more complicated then a regular virus would be. I mean, all it has to do is like trick the computer into thinking like a cd is done burning and it will pop open.

Yes I've seen them before (happened to me once). Mr T, you may want to post this in the Computer Security section if you want help on removing this virus. However it is possible this is not a virus issue and some malfunction in the drive. Try and rule out the possibility of a virus.
