Default AVAST causing slowdown at bootup...

Hey guys I have been expriencing a slower, kinda lazy, bootup after the last update of Avast. It seems to be checking stuff for a bit longer than it did before and meanwhile the computer is rather unusable. This lasts for some 40 seconds after the desktop shows up. Then it's all very fast as usual. Are any of you experiencing the same thing?

JAN

This update was earlier today wasn't it, Jan? I haven't rebooted since, I'll try it now.

Default Haha

Well I am sure that this issue will be resolved. I am confident that it will be. However, in the meanwhile, those 40 seconds will not kill me .
