Problems of Unreal Engine 3.0

Ok, im debating whether to self build a new computer, however the one problem i have is i don't know what the impact unreal engine 3.0 will have on graphics cards - in particular the X800XL.

Basically i would like to know if the new unreal engine will work on a X800XL, if so then ill get that - but if it wont then its £200 down the drain in a year or so.

get nvdia because it requires SM 3.0 which at doesn't have. good choice would be 6600, 6600gt, 6800, or 6800gt.
