I have a problem. I tried to reinstalled
Windows 98. During this installation I get error

An Error occurred Loading c:\Windows\System\SHDOC401.DLL
The file may not have been installed or it has been corrupted

Probably as a result a second error

Unable to install Java packages

Many times before I reinstalled Windows 98
And everything was okey.
What’s happened now?

I check my installation CD and there is no SHDOC401.DLL
In this CD. I have another CD with Windows 98 installation
And this CD contains this file
But system refuses install Windows 98 from this CD.

How can I resolve this problem?

Did you format your whole HDD or you try to repair or something?

Try format using Partation Magic.
