Lightbulb Getting rid of screen burn.

How do you get rid of screen burn? I have heard that putting on a blank white screen for a day or so should get rid of it. The attached picture is of the monitor that is in question. Thanks!

LCD screens dont burn. They just loose pixles or really screw up! Also, FYI, It's next to impossible to burn most new CRT screens.
