Hi, i wish to upgrade my memory from 512mb to 1024mb. However after reading Questions 101 from another post i am now confused. I have included a attachement with what type of memory i currently have etc. It says i have DDR-SDRAM (this type is crap right?) So do you think i would be able to remove this and install two sticks of 512mb DDR (this is better right?) Also how do i know what type i need because when i look on ebuyer for memory theres all this techical stuff ie:Crucial CT6464Z40B 512MB DDR 400MHz PC3200 CL=3 Memory Module. What does this mean?
I hope you can understand this. |

It looks like right now you have 4 128mb sticks of pc2700 ram. I would recommend ditching all 4 sticks and getting 2 512MB sticks of ddr400 pc3200 ram. The ram I recomend is CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin $84 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145440 This is great ram for anyone that dont plan to overclock.
