Any tips on how to make my Win Me run better and run faster?

Close the number of open programs that you don't need, install more ram, get a better processor, get rid of ME and upgrade to XP. Any and all of the above would help you.

go start -> run -> msconfig

and stop any unwanted programs running with windows at startup, it inmproves your pc's prerfromance greatly. if you dont know what to stop running just google them.

also you could try buying some more ram, how much do you have in there currently?

also try defragmenting and cleaning up (disc cleanup) your HD

The number one thing that I would suggest would be to install XP if you have the money and your computer has the resources (which it should). This will vastly improve stability and performance. Then you can upgrade the RAM, and it will have a much larger impact on the computer's performance... And make sure like Murphys and Other_One said, you want to run msconfig and turn off a lot of that crap that starts up with the computer. Usually, you don't need 75% of that stuff and it just bogs down your system...
