So I tried to reinstall windows, but I can get it to boot from the CD, it just takes me to the screen which is quoted above. Even though I press "c" in order to get the CD to boot. What can I do?

you should try repairing your maser boot record.
here is a link to help you out http://www.cyberwalker.net/columns/sep98/090398.html also to create the boot disk - proceed as if you were going to format a floppy, but when you get to the option to "quick format" etc. you should see another option like "create boot disk" or "copy system files". choose either one of these and it should work. not to forget, according to the website the command is "FDISK/mbr". |
