I have tried every help page on the web for help with using a c++ compiler but it has failed to open after everything i've tried. I've tried on windows XP and 95 so i don't think thats trhe problem. I'm not great with computers so it's probaly me doing something stupid, but can anyone give me any help or possibly point me in the direction of a good site that might help

what about it? what IDE are you using or you text editing and trying to compile with a command line compiler?

i wouldn't know about using the command line but i suggest just getting microsoft visual studio or something of the like, it will compile no fuss and as an extra bonus none of that icky muss!

here use packaged compiler, this one is free and it's pretty good http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html
