Right, Im replacing a part on the computer that came with the new mobo. Its the aluminum that has all the holes for like the mouse, keyboard and integrated things to come out of. It still has a bunch of little strips covering the holes, do I just bend them till the come off or what??

Oh, you mean the backplate? It should fit just fine anyway, but otherwise you could probubly just rip them of carefully.(don't hold me responceble if it doesn't work
).

The backplate isnt a critical component of the case and a replacement one should come with the new mobo
