Default CRT Monitor help

i got a Acer Acerview 77c monitor which i bought off my mate recently.

The trouble i am having is that the monitor screen size wont stay stretched which i mean by i adjust the geometry to stretch the screen sides to get rid of the boarder, i do this but when i turn off my pc for a while and come back the left hand side has moved inwards which has led to me seeing 1cm of that black boarder, also to when i use applications the screen keeps on changing inwards and out.

i got a FX5200 latest drivers
