Question MX100 and laptop

Hello, can you use a MX1000 on a laptop or does the "docking bay" have to be connected to a wall socket when you use the mouse, or is it just when you need to recharge the mouse?

You should be able to use it with any computer that is USB enabled...the dock will need to be connected to your PC as well as to a power outlet to recharge it. The device needs to be attached to the PC via the dock which is its communication link to your machine.

So it only needs to be connected to the computer unless it needs to be recharged, right?
