Question XP 64bit gaming

hi a am soon getting my new computer and would like to know if i should use 32bit or 64bit windows ?

my computer is :

cpu : AMD Athlon 64 (3500+) - 512 Cache [939 PIN]-Venice Core

mobo : GA-K8N Ultra-9

ram : samsung DDR 512MB 400MHZ

graphics card : HIS X800XL IceQ II Turbo 256MB PCIe

case : Sunbeam UV Acrylic

hard drive : 40gb wd (from my old computer)

cd : 40x (that i found and works )

At the moment its not really woth gettin 64 bit windows, there not much softare made for 64 bit, and you would have to make sure all your drivers are avaliable for 64 bit. Overall xp 32 and 64 is basicly the same.

Where did you get 64 for free? If your talking about trading your 32 in for 64 then its not worth it. But if you received it from a friend who did not use it, of cource you should use it. Better than spending $100.

if all of your used applications can run on x64 then go for it but there isn't really much point at the moment, unless you got it for free, but its not worth trading your 32bit for 64 just yet.
