Default Sony DCR-TRV460

Anyone know when using this cam as a webcam if you'll see the image in the LCD. I'm having trouble with the cam and can't figure out if it's hardware or software and the damn tech guys don't have a clue what they're talking about.

I never used that camara but I would imagine that you wouldnt have the lcd enabled that would take alot of battery power, unless you have an adapter but even with an adapter it would wear out the backlight if it was constently left on, so i would think they would design it so that it does not turn on.
