Default Confused, not sure if this is the right forum

i have a Toshiba Satellite M45-S351 and im not sure if this refers to "overclocking" or not.. but i want to know if this is a good enough laptop to let it run 48-72 hours on end. i usually let it run to download files in GB's taking from 1-3 days...i eventually shut it off a day or so and i use it a lot in school 2-3 hours and at home 5-6 hours.

here are the specs:
Intel Pentium M 1.73GHz
512 MB of RAM
100 GB Drive 4200 rpm
XP HOME EDITION
Mobile Intel 915GM Express 533MHz Mainboard
AC 110/230 V

it will be fine to leave running that long, totally ok, and totally normal. There was an ongoing thread somewhere discussing whether you should leave your pc (desktop) on 24/7 and the fact is.....you can. You can leave them on for as long as you like without side effects, except a small increase in your electricity bill - but in a laptop thats even less.

as long as you dont block the vents, and dont leave it on a cushion or bed or something of similar composition then you'll be fine

They are almost always on the side or back. It'll be fine.
