I have been having a lot of problems with my PC lately.
I recently formatted, what I thought to be my whole computer. Now I have Windows XP Home Edition on one Partition, and XP Professional on the other. I can't seem to make my computer boot from the CD so I can format and delete the partitions, and start from scratch. Is there any kind of program that will do this for me? And also, i'm not sure if i've corrupted some spots on my hard drive or not, heck, I don't even know if it's possible, I don't know all that much. But I was wondering if there was a program to completely wipe it out. |

why does he need to change it to boot from the cd drive? so mny ppl say that but its wrong, yes it does work but u only need to do that for vry old mobos. most mobos made within the last 5 years. when the comp starts up u need to push esc or f1 or f2, etc. one of them allow you to chose which to boot from.
