View Single Post - symantec expired, dell dead: urgent help, pls

my dell 2400 desktop came with a Symantec antivirus software, which expired on 9/15, so i install a Norton Corporation system from my school. after that, i can't open anything on my computer, and can't reinstall Nortan, can't remove it either, even worse i can't reinstall the windows. there is always a error message in a 'Symantec CCApp' window, " a necessary component for this function is missing or damaged("C:\Program Files\symantec_Client_Security\Symantec Antivirus\NAVAPW32.DLL")
anybody can tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?
