dell inspiron 9300

Pentium M 1.86 GHZ 2 mb of cache 533 mhz fsb
17 inch wide screen
1 gb of ddr2 533 mhz dual channel
256 mb geforce 6800 go
80 gb hd
6 cell battery
1 year warranty
free printer

total: 1401.00$

the radeon 9700 is just a desktop radeon 9600 pro. i originally thought it had 110M transistors and 8 Pixel pipelines but later found out it has 75M and 4 pixel pipelines. in other words the 6800 dominates the 9700.
