Default xp acting wierd

hey i have windows xp pro sp1, and i stated in another forum that i have aurora on my comp. another thing is i cant shut down, i have to hold the button, the back ground goes black it gets real slow wat could be the prob?. when i run adaware it freezes, norton doesnt find anything spybot freezes, house call get a no esponding sign. what to do. what can it be im about to re install windows on my comp and im backing up the important docs ect. please hurry.

You've got a nasty spyware infection. Download Hijackthis, install and run it and hit "scan and save logfile". Post the log here.

Also i'd recommend doing stuff in safe mode, keep hitting F8 until the screen comes up, and that should usually stop the spyware from loading. But don't always run your computer in that, just use safe mode to run the spyware removal programs such as "Adaware" or "Spybot Search and destroy"

aurora/nail is the nastiest trojan/spyware ever.. it slows down your computer completely...the best bet before formatting is to post a hijack log here or somewhere else and have them help you remove it because adware programs can not detect the source file but only the "nail.exe"
