On my other computer its a P4 2.6 Ghz with 512mb of ram and an ATI Radeon 9700 TX w/ 128mb DRR. I tried installing BF2 on it and it installed perfectly but when i try to start it up, the Battlefield 2 picture comes up and the screen goes blank then goes back to the desktop and just stays there? i really dont have any idea of what this could be. Could it be that i dont have the latest drivers for my video card or that i was running the disc from my DVD drive, becasue its in a dvd format(i think). I really could use some help.
Thanks

DVD problem = not very likely. Driver problem = most likely. I would definitley grab the newest drivers available. Also check that your card is compatible. I have never heard of a 9700 TX

You could try making the DVD/CD into an image using Alcohol 120%, or just copy files to your HD and try installing from there.. I had the same symptoms on another game and worked for me
Update drivers first though
