Default Digital speaker connection help

hello.

I currently have a BA735 digital speaker set, it has digital-in on the subwoofer that is a RCA port. The woofer then connect to the 2 speakers. I want to connect it to my onboard soundcard of my GA-k8nf-9 mobo. It has several audio ports (front/back/center/mic/SPDIF etc) and I'm assuming I need to connect to the spdif output in order to send a digital signal to my speaker. The spdif port is also RCA, so do i simply need an RCA to RCA cable and I'm good to go? I wanted to be sure before I spent the money.

If it means anything my OS is XP and the speakers used to be connected to a gateway with 98SE through an SB Live card. (which had a simple single 1/8" port which could be switched between analog and digital)

thanks in advance.

UPDATE: Ended up not having to buy a cable, found one lying around the house and it works, sooo no problems anymore.
