I'm on my g/f computer trying to fix this problem. Most of the sites that she tries to go it states:
"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page" I can not get rid of this problem please let me know how to fix it. On the Internet Explorer problem. Everytime I try to log onto MyEbay or Hotmail and try to sign in, the next thing we see is: "The page cannot be displayed" Can we get this fix too?? |

Open Internet Explorer and go to:
Tools > Internet Options > Select the "Security Tab" > Click on "Custom Level". Now you will see the settings for ActiveX controls and plug-ins. Put your settings like the following: (NOTE: Your settings may look different depending on the version of IE you have) Download Signed ActiveX Controls: Enable Download Unsigned ActiveX controls: Prompt Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe: Prompt Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins: Enable Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting: Enable I hope this helps!
