I have Insightbb connection and a router and cable modem. and 3 computers in the networks, 3 wired, no wireless
I just formated my Main computer(I think the host computer) becuase it was filled with junk, but after i reinstalled Windows xp home edition, my internet for that computer wasent working. The Internet worked for the other 2 computers, but not the one i just formated. I called insight, but i was kinda stupid cuz it wasent there falt. But the person I talked to said that it might have something to do with the Computer hardware. Maybe that the Computer didnt install the hardware i needed to connect. I think he said something about Ethernet or Adapter, so i looked up it. I tryed to reinstall it but it didnt work. Nothing els i try works . can anyone help me? I reallly nees internet to work, im a busy man! Thanks in advance |

Sounds like you didn't install the drivers for your NIC
Right-click My Computer --> Properties, click on the Hardware tab, then device manager. See if the drivers installed, if not - find the disk or use another PC to fetch it. |
