after wasting an hour with online chat support i come to you O knowledgeable people. below is the pin configeration on my mobo for a fan. it is not the normal modern day 3 pin next to eachother with a plastic backing. it is just 4 pin spots in a row with three pins sticking out.
1 2 3 [pin][blank][pin][pin] my question is what are the pins? this is what i think 1 = speed control 2 = positive 3 = negitive/ground what do you think? i'm trying to rig up a fan for that wierd pin config. |

1. You can prolly verify with a DMM although i think you are correct
2. What motherboard are you talking about? 3. Does the plastic connector thingy look like a floppy power connect?
