I'm using Windows XP Service Pack 2 on a laptop. I'm the only user to this laptop and I made my user account password protective. Everytime I sign on to windows and log in with my RIGHT password I keep getting the "password error" messages in my event viewer. Why is this happening?

i think what he is getting to is that u have it set to log u into a server with a domain controller, which ure computer is named smith. u have to change it to windows logon.
