When i got the sandisk stick I used the adapter and put it in the reader and my comp didnt pick up on it just said please insert a drive. Then i swith the stick with my sony and put it in with the use of an adaptor and it worked my comp picked up on it right away. The sandisk stick works cause i tried it in my psp and it works just fine but my comp doesnt pick it up when i put it in the reader. I was thinking could it be the write protection on the card? Some readers are just incompatable. I had a similar problem with a Sandisk memory stick and one of my readers, but it worked fine in other devices and readers. Same goes for SD style cards, as well. I have a few that when I try and access them, they say "Disk not formatted" but then it works fine elsewhere.
