Question First time HDD buyer...

I just wanted to know, when purchasing hard drives, do you receive data and power cables with the drive, or do you have to buy it seperately?

i think if you buy a retail one it should come with the data cable and the power cable is the molex connector on your harddrive. If it's OEM then i don't think it comes with cables.

the power cable comes out of your power supply, you dont need one to come with your drive
