Default No access to C

Ok, I got a problem with my mac. My only user does not have access to drive C (or the system drive). Now I know this because I was looking in permissions and did not realize I had clicked "no access". exiting the window caused everything to go from my desktop and now the computer wont load into the OS, it gets to a blue background and stops. It's as if finder wont load. I dont know what to do.

Imac G3 400mhz DVD; Mac OS X (10.3.9); 256ram, 40gb hdd

Hrmmm, I stopped workink with Macs a while ago, but hear goes.... Sounds like a permissions thing to me, like you locked yourself out, try a locksmith, lol (worry, had to throw that in) If you can, log in as an administrator. Otherwise, lookup the button for gettin into your bios or something like that where you can change your load settings or get into safe mode. Thats all windows talk, I apolgize.
