Default Wireless Issue

I bought a new Compaq V2305CA and there's a strange problem with my wireless connection. Whenever I plug the computer in and it starts charging, the wireless connection drops out, but on batteries or just plugged in it's fine. I talked to a guy at Compaq, he said it was because the charging caused interference and I should update the wireless drivers, but they're the newest ones. Is there anything I can do?

is windows configuring your wireless or is your drivers?

if not go to start >> control panel >> performance and maintenance >> administrative tools >> services >> wireless zero configuration >> start up type should be at automatic then hit apply.

then go to show all connections. right click on wireless network connection. go to wireless networks tab, use windows to configure my wireless network settings should be checked.

that should prevent any power saving features that might occur with the wireless drivers. try that.

that is weird that the compaq guy says that charging interferes with the wireless signal. driver would not fix that, and why would they sell a laptop like that?

in anycase, i think the compaq tech did not know what was wrong.

perhaps its some sort of short or something, does it try to reconnect after you plug it in? what does it do after that?

power saving features on drivers could possibly interfere.

Its a Broadcom card, and the drivers are the latest. After I plug it in it tries to reconnect, but I get a little bubble saying the network is unavailable.
