Default can you guys reccomend a good laptop for me

i decided i am going to get a laptop and i need one to play battlefield 2 in low settings perferably in high settings but doesnt have to be

128 mb or 256 mb videocard and at least 512 mb of ram at least 40 gb harddrive and a dvdplayer 15.4 inch or 17 inch screen are those good for gaming cause they are widescreen

either amd althlon or pentium m NO CELERON M OR SEMPRONS

and i can go to $1500 but perferably less

any help would be appreciated

do you have any weight preferences? 17 inches are around 8 pounds and bigger. 15.4 inches are around 5-6 pounds and a little smaller. yes they play perfectly fine. many games now support widescreen.

nope i really dont care about weight i dont travel that much its just i want to use it around the house and not in my room all the time so they can be 8 pounds or larger

what about hp averatec emachines compaq what of those do you reccomend or a laptop from walmart bestbuy newegg or tigerdirect

hp/compaq has the worst line up of video cards. and every computer i have configured with dell has been better/cheaper than ones i have found at bestbest buy(including their lineup of emachines) and newegg. walmart tends to sell value computers for general internet surfing use. never really looked into tigerdirect.

i am a fan of the pentium M due to its incredible speed along with low wattage consumption.
