i just transfered all my hardware into another case. when i plugged in the front panel wires to the connector on the motherboard and went to turn the computer on, it wouldnt turn on. i tried using the old on/off switch to turn it on but it didnt work. im pretty sure its a dead motherboard, but im not 100% sure. what are the symptoms of a dead motherboard?

are you 100% sure that you put the switch on the correct jumpers, have the power supply plugged into the mobo, and also any AUX power to the mobo. Is the PSU turned on at the back, plugged in and switched on at the wall

then its a dead motherboard, if the lights and fans came on for a second or 2, then it would be a bad power supply.
