Ived check the price of FX53, its way beyond my budget, although I think its worth its price, and how fast thus it go? I mean compared to P4 prescott, coz Ived read about this article in Toms hardware , they OC a prescott and northwood up to 4Ghz, I was thinking, maybe I should stick with Intel

Grab what you want ... realistically it's just a matter of preference. If you get P4C you wont have to get such a highly clocked chip as its running a 20stage pipe while the P4E you'll want a really highly clocked chip to account for the 11stage defficiency cost.

If you want to stick with AMD, the Athlon64s are probably the route to go for most people,
