Question SATA HDD Jumper Settings???

I purchased a new Seagate Barracuda 200GB SATA HDD and i'm not sure what you have to do with the jumper settings thing, and what it all means. I'm new to this sort of stuff.
Can anyone explain?

What he meant the jumper setting should not be available on a SATA drive.... But god forbid they have shown up on your 200gb sata drive, set it to master..
